No. Tappy is fully functional as a standalone app on supported Android devices. You don’t need any external card readers or printers.
You can accept contactless payments including credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), mobile wallets (Google Pay, Apple Pay*), and NFC-enabled payment devices.
Yes. Tappy uses encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant systems to process all payment data. Your customer’s card information is never stored on your device.
Yes. Tappy works offline for product selection, customer management, and receipt generation. However, contactless payments require an internet connection. Any changes made offline will sync automatically once you're back online.
After a transaction, customers can receive their receipts by: Scanning a QR code shown on your screen, Tapping their phone using NFC, Receiving it via email if added to their profile
Absolutely! You can add unlimited products, categorize them, upload photos, set prices, and include VAT settings. Barcode scanning is also supported using your device camera.
Yes. You can enable tip prompts during checkout and set flexible discounts — either fixed amount or percentage-based — for products, customers, or promotions.
Yes. You can link multiple Android devices to the same account. All sales data syncs in real time, so everyone stays up to date.
Tappy provides an in-app dashboard with real-time analytics. You can also export all transaction data in CSV, Excel, or JSON formats for accounting or bookkeeping purposes.
No. Tappy is free to download and use. Standard payment processing fees (set by your merchant service provider) may apply.
Yes. You can export sales data in various formats that are compatible with most accounting tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or Excel-based sheets.
